Chui Lodge Lake Naivasha Kenya
We stayed at Chui Lodge Lake Naivasha Kenya for 3 nights and we were very impressed with the place and had a wonderful time. It offers a great alternative to the Mara and other more well known safari locations in Kenya due to the different animals that can be seen here such as Flamingo's and White Rhino. Also the landscape is very dramatic. We went here and to the Mara for 3 nights and felt that is gave us an excellent variation. The Mara was very busy and so it was nice to spend time in Chui's game sanctuary where you feel you have the place to yourself. The lodges are amazing, we had a deluxe lodge and it looked like it had not long been built. The lodge was very well maintained and had been fitted out to a high standard. 
The restaurant building is amazing with large open fires and intricate carvings. The swimming pool is also very nice and well maintained. It also has one of the best views I have ever seen from a pool over a watering whole - watching zebra and giraffes whilst in a pool is very surreal! The Chui lodge Lake Naivasha Kenya is part of a private game reserve and the viewing of animals is excellent, in the evenings the animals come into the grounds of the lodge making for very interesting walks back from dinner! The game drives are good and the game drivers are very friendly and informative. Our driver - Chrispuss was excellent. He was a very helpful and kind man and provided us with many great game drives and walking safaris, he also took us to nearby hells gate national park, which was very enjoyable.
The main attraction to this place though has to be the service and the food. Both of which is some of the best I have ever experienced. The staffs see to you every need and desire before you even have a chance to ask. The service in the restaurant is excellent and the chef was outstanding, his food was always different and always perfect. After each meal he would come and see the guests to ensure they were happy with the food - which they always were, and to ask if their was anything specific they wanted cooking. The lodge is managed by a young lady called Katie, she is excellent at her job and seemed to personally care that we had an enjoyable stay, as did all of the staff at the lodge, and went out of their way to make our stay special. We had a bush breakfast that was out of this world.
I would go back to Chui Lodge Lake Naivasha Kenya tomorrow, it is one of the best and most enjoyable places I have ever stayed and reccomend that anyone considering going here to go. You will not be disappointed. Two things I would say though is 1) we stayed for 3 nights, any longer would be too long (but then this is true for any safari location) and any less than 2 would not be enough to fully appreciate what this place has to offer. 2) Try to avoid going on a weekend. Chui Lodge Lake Naivasha Kenya better known to Kenyan residents than overseas visitors and as such gets very busy at the weekend with people from Nairobi on a weekend away. Go in the week and it is like having the entire place to yourself.
