UGANDA’S population is soon clocking 35 million people.

The 2009 State of the World Population report by the United Nations Population Fund shows that the country’s population was 32.7 million. This is an increase from 31.9 million people in 2008.

Uganda’s population growth rate is currently at 3.3%, a rise from 3.2% IN 2008. This places Uganda among the top five fastest growing countries in terms of population worldwide.
