"Just click here to start your story, comment or criticism about this university or any other higher institution of learning you’ve ever visited in Uganda. ________________________________________________ Starting with 80 students and a single campus at Mbale (Uganda), the university has now established a total of 4 campuses in the Uganda. The campuses include Main Campus (Mbale), Kampala Campus (Kibuli - Kampala), Females Campus (Kabojja - Kampala) and Arua Campus in Arua. The university has graduated more than 5000 students in such disciplines as Education, Natural and Physical Sciences, Administration and Management studies, Arts & Social Sciences and Islamic studies. The University has a vibrant staff development Programme with over 30 staff pursuing futher studies at Masters and PhD degree levels in a variety of disciplines in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malyasia, Bangladesh, Canada, USA, Pakistan and the United Kingdom. The university intends to establish itself as an unparelleled centre of Excellence in the fields of Education, Computing & IT and Management, Health Sciences etc. The Administrartion system is based on three main organs. • The University Council. • The Executive Board • The Management Committee This is the highest governing body of the University and is responsible for policy making. It is headed by the Chairman and is composed of members from OIC, the University and the Uganda government.
