Kampala Serena Hotel Uganda

Kampala Serena Hotel is grand and peaceful. The entry lobby is clad in marble with indoor fountains and warm welcoming music. The whole atmosphere is very enveloping. The gardens are lush green complete with foundains and ponds which are filled with frogs and other noisy beings who sing the night away. You can enjoy the grounds for a nice leisurely stroll.

Alternatively, Kampala is really quite safe so you can also take an evening walk outside of the gates.Click for more information about this hotel in Uganda

The Kampala Serena Hotel is wonderfully outfitted with everything you could need.

There is a coffee shop serving latte's, ice cream, and amazing cakes. There is the traditional "Lakes" restaurant which has both the buffet and an extensive a la carte menu.

There is also The Explorer and The Mist which is a lovely bar for drinks.

The pool area is expansive and beautiful - just like paradise. There are separate areas for kids and adults and even lane markers for doing laps.

There is a gift shop with many exquisite things including trade beads recovered from the ocean floor that are a few hundred years old.

Of course the hotel is perfectly equipped with internet and a concierge and everything else you could need.

The location is quite central within Kampala city and it is easy to walk to the nice shopping mall "Garden City" or to many nice restaurants and other nice hotels.

All in all I absolutely relished coming to this hotel every time I walked through the gates - perfect

I have stayed in a number of Serena Hotels in East Africa. While all Serenas are excellent, Kampala Serena Hotel is the best so far with quality rooms, excellent restaurants and superb service.

The grounds are lovely, the rooms are comfortable, the health club is terrific, the pool is very good and the restaurants (particularly the Pearl of Africa) are excellent.

The service in Serenas is by far the best in the region and this is of a very high standard.

The Serena's attitude is that without clients they have no hotel - so they do everything they can to make their clients feel welcome and at home.

As with all Serenas, the hotel shows special appreciation of repeat guests.

An inspirational blend of 5-star polish and pan-African panache, this 152-room world-class hotel will showcase the cream of Ugandan culture while delivering the ultimate in personalized service, international cuisine, social style and business reliability.

Drawing its architectural inspiration from the abundance of Uganda’s lakes and rivers, the hotel is styled around a central water theme, which manifests itself in the wrought ironwork, mosaic pillars, hand-carved panels, cascading waterfalls and shimmering water gardens alike.Check rates and availability of this hotel in Uganda here

Boasting 17 acres of gorgeous grounds which provide shelter for a wide selection of indigenous trees; and protection for a beautiful array of flowers, birds and butterflies, the hotel’s extensive grounds will provide a haven of calm in the centre of Uganda’s most cosmopolitan city.

Unprecedented room choices spacious, sumptuous and exquisitely presented, room choices range from ‘deluxe’ to ‘executive’, and from panoramic ‘executive suites’ to impressive ‘business suites’; while the ‘Presidential Suite’ is fabulous indeed.

Air conditioning in all Rooms Large bathrooms with separate bath, toilet & shower facilities, hairdryer in room, in-room satellite television, internet access via data port and wireless internet connectivity, direct dialing telephone with multiple lines and voice mail modem hook-up for computer mini bar and spacious private safe Tea/coffee making facilities.
