Kipepeo Hotel Nairobi is fabulous new hotel located on river Road just next to the Mash Bus booking office convenient for the business class traveller while offering you a first class hotel service.

I must admit this is one of the most luxurious three class /three star hotels in Nairobi. All i can say say Kipepeo means a butterfly, and this hotel hotels brings together different life themes together and make them look beautiful together just like a butterfly would bring together different colors and always make sure they are beautiful.

I was lucky to be invited among other people for a grand tour of this new hotel. The reception is a very compact and beautiful piece of architecture giving a scentful taste of how you will expect their rooms to be and how tasteful the meals will be while make your stay at this hotel.

The management went ahead to take us through a tour of this hotel and if it was not for the location of Hotel Kipepeo Hotel Kipepeo could be rated as a five star hotel.

Computerised rooms:

Hotel Kipepeo has four floors, there are 56 all ensuite self contained suites with hot showers categorized as single, double or grand Deluxe suites.

Each room has a 21" Television with 5 Dstv channels and 2 GTv channels plus all local Tv stations, they have gotten rid of te bugging mosquito net and replaced it with mosquito panels on all windows within the rooms, all the windows have also been made sound proof to give the visitors a first class of privacy and shield to disturbance from the busy river road.

In each room we found a digital safe for any valuables that the visitor may want to keep extra safely, you also get a direct phone line in your room. I must admit this is a first star room service.

We were served with an electronic card which was used to control all the access to the rooms and the lighting of the room TV and Hot shower talk about technology on river road.

Dine with the president's chef:

Hotel Kipepeo, restaurant and Pub is run by the immediate former chef to the Nairobi state house who has hard the experience of managing production for VIPs and having head food production for Lufthansa Airlines.

So if you want to have a taste of the state house meals you just need to pop into this restaurant and make your preferred order and consider yourself a diner at the most high office of the republic.

The assorted of the menu item is awesome given the above experience of the chief chef cum director of the restaurant i would not blame you for ordering a piece of everything on the menu just for kicks.
