The beach is very nice. The resort has a diving school where we made 2 dives. The diving itself was ok, but the diving school must have been one of the neatest, most well maintained I have ever seen. Recommended.

It is a golf resort, and a lot of the guests are older. The place was empty after ten, so don't expect a lot of partying. However there is a casino. Predominantly German clientele. This hotel was fantastic from start to finish.

Just short of 2 hours from the airport, the cool towel on arrival was definately appreciated! Very impressive reception area. A speedy and trouble free check in meant we were soon sat in our lovely room overlooking the pool.

All facilities throughout the hotel are clean and well maintained, the pool area was lovely with a waterfall and a great little ledge to sunbathe on.

All of the staff at Leisure Lodge Resort Mombasa were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. There were activities going on during the day, water aerobics, volleyball etc but the animation team were happy to leave you alone if you just wanted to chill out.

On alternate nights, you dine outside on the Bahari terrace with a special theme buffet and there is evening entertainment every night ranging from acrobats to choirs to local dance troops. This usually finishes by 10:30pm with a bit of music after.

Dining in the restaurant is either buffet of waiter service a la carte. All very tasty and lots of variety.The beach area was gorgeous, picture perfect.
