We were then given the initial arrival chat where i really felt they put your mind at ease and i must stress also made very clear that at anytime you were not happy with the menu (which is posted daily) you are more than welcome to put in any request you might have.

Each morning your butler and often the chef come around personally and ask if there is anything you would like instead or any preferences.

We dived nearly everyday and felt the instructors offered a strong local knowledge and really catered for each person diving..Again felt totally at ease with them and enjoyed all the exclusive diving, and being the only people in the water for nearly every dive!

The rooms were better than described and the openness and luxury was a fantastic combination.

We had Banda 3 on the island and the location is wonderful - it is the perfect position to watch the sunset from the beds on the beach. Service was lovely, and our butler was just ace.

It was great to hear his "Hello" every morning as he brought coffee to our Banda..

We dived most days, and a couple of the sites were truly stunning - there isn't a huge amount of "big" stuff to see, but the variety of fish and coral was wonderful.

There really is nothing to do apart from dive, snorkel or snooze on the beach but there is a good selection of books on the island so you don't have to bring your own library..

The evenings were super relaxed - 6.30 sundowners on the beach, then get ready for dinner... Most people meet in the bar beforehand but this is by no means obligatory...dress is pretty casual - I just wore a summer frock or shorts and a top..

The menu for the day is posted up on a blackboard in the morning and the food was really good -

To sum up - it is expensive but, as with most things, you really get what you pay for..
