It is better to test Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge Arusha for yourself to confirm this. After almost an hour from Arusha airport with a new found friend and driver/tour guide the gates were opened to us at the Moivaro Lodge. The entrance is well maintained as was the entrance and all public facilities.
There is a nice swimming pool in the back garden with some lounge chairs, a nice bar and inside/outside restaurant area. The rooms are located in smaller buildings in the beautiful gardens.
The hotel is clean, cute, very beautiful garden, welcome drink, always greeted with a smile by all staff, good breakfasts.
Moivaro Coffee Lodge sits on what used to be an actual coffee plantation. These days it's more lodge than coffee, but quite a nice one at that. Each room is in its own individual bungalow. Each bungalow offers great comfort and a fireplace. The grounds are beautiful and expansive with a good amount of space between each bungalow. Flower lined trails guide you to and from your room to the main building. The food is delicious and there is a wide selection to choose from.
Picturesque garden cottages are set in beautiful gardens, each with their own veranda and all the modern comforts. Facilities include a swimming pool, children's play ground, 2km nature trail, massage room, internet facilities and room service.Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge also has first-rate conference facilities. Up-to-date and high tech equipment is available for hire to use in any one of seven conference rooms, from projectors to an Internet connection.
Moivaro has a total of 25 double, triple or single cottages well positioned in the beautiful gardens. Each cottage is individually placed around the coffee plantation which ensures they are private and very cozy.<
The interiors are fairly basic but very neat and very comfortable. Each of the 40 cottages has its own verandah and there is a swimming pool, children's playground, bar and restaurant as well as jogging path, massage room and internet facilities. In the nearby village you can experience real African life. On a half day walking trip you can visit the great local banana beer brewery, a locally operated biogas plant, the culture of the Masai living in the village, the Ngurumansi Crater, and the school and local shops.
