This beach package combines beach experience with tours to help you discover Mombasa. Here you will enjoy activities at the beach and the leisurely pace of life at the Kenyan coast.

You will have a full day City Tour, featuring some places of cultural and historical interest. You also have a chance to witness the life of the local people when you visit a Giriama village on a half-day tour

Itinerary of Mombasa Classic Sun and Sand safari:

Day 1: ARRIVAL - MOMBASA

On arrival, meet and assist at Moi International Airport, Mombasa. Thereafter you will be transferred to Severin Sea Lodge.

Severin Sea Lodge is located 30 km away from Moi International Airport at Mombassa’s exotic palm fringed North Coast. The hotel is set amongst lush tropical gardens.

This holiday paradise is only 20 minutes from the bustling town and harbour of Mombasa.

Accommodation is in 100 uniquely styled makuti thatched Karibu class rondavels. All rooms have air conditioning and additional roof ventilation, mosquito nets, bathroom with shower and a balcony.

Comfort class rooms feature handmade Lamu style furniture, satellite television, telephone, mini-bar, fruit baskets, hairdryers, in room safe and data ports.

Unique to Severin Sea Lodge is the Imani Dhow restaurant that is berthed on an old Arabian sailing dhow and serves local delights as well as international cuisine. Other facilities include round bars, swimming pool, barracuda diving school, tennis courts, and guest laundry service.

Day 2: MOMBASA

After breakfast you proceed on a full day city tour of Mombasa. On the tour you will visit the Old Town and see Fort Jesus, constructed by the Portuguese in 1593 and Kilindini Old Port, where you see some dhows.

The Old Town is a grid of narrow winding streets lined with houses built to coastal Swahili and Indian styles. Some of the houses have intricately carved doors similar to what you find in Zanzibar and Lamu.

At the Akamba Handicraft market, you will see artists carve various crafts as you watch. You will also pass by Marikit market and an Indian Temple.

After lunch at Mbobolulu, you head for Haller Park. The park is named after the Swiss agronomist whose vision transformed a huge abandoned cement quarry into a spectacular 7 sq km nature and animal sanctuary.

Day 3: TSAVO EAST PARK

0800 Hrs. After breakfast, check out and drive to Tsavo East National park. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Voi Safari lodge. Early after at leisure and later game drive in the park returning late in the evening at your lodge.

Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge.

Day 4: TSAVO WEST

0630 Hrs. Early morning game drive in the park. Late breakfast will be provided at your lodge. Later check out and drive to Tsavo West National park.

Visit the Mzima Spring before lunch time. Early afternoon at Leisure and later in the late afternoon game drive in the park till late in the evening.

Dinner and overnight at Ngulia safari Lodge.

Day 5: TSAVO WEST - MOMBASA

0800 Hrs. After breakfast, short game drive will be provided enroute to Mombasa. On arrival Mombasa check in at Severin Sea Lodge. Lunch on your own. Dinner and overnight at Severin Sea Lodge.

Day 6: MOMBASA

Brekafast at your beach hotel. Spend the day at Mombasa enjoying the beautiful beach of Severin Sea Lodge. Lunch will be provided. Afternoon at Leisure.

Later in the evening pickup from your hotel for Dhow dinner cruise. Returning to your hotel late at night. Overnight at Severin Sea Lodge.

Day 7: MOMBASA- DEPARTURE

After breakfast, depending on the timing of your flight, you will be transferred to Mombasa Airport.

- Transport based on a safari vehicle while on safari.

- Driver allowance while on safari.

- Game drive as per the Itinerary.
