Mount Kenya Climb Safari6 Days Safari with Mount Kenya Climb Safari Summary Mount Kenya climb Safari: This is a 6 - Day walking expedition with grade C-D climbing and is ideal for those with a spirit and passion for adventure. The excursion involves scaling Mt. Kenya to the ‘Hikers summit’ (Point Lenana 4,985 M). The climb will be a non-technical ascent with the approach trail to Lenana following the less frequented and scenic Chogoria route, then descent via the better-known Sirimon Route; in time for motorized transfer back to Nairobi mid morning of Day 6. Diamox has successfully been used in the past to not only treat Altitude Sickness BUT to also check its onset. Please confirm with your Physician if you intend to be on Diamox. Mount Kenya climb Safari Clothing and Equipment: Group equipment will be provided, these includes: tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks and all highaltitude mountaineering gear. All other individual paraphernalia should be sourced and organizedfor by the respective participant. Package includes : Transport to and from the base of Mt. Kenya; meals and/or catering during the programme; facilitation/instructional fees and expenses; all Mt.
