Ol Kanjau Amboseli Camp

Ol Kanjau Amboseli Camp is situated at the foot of Africa’s largest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro.

It is adjacent to Amboseli National park and is surrounded by a large area of raw African bush owned by Kisongo Maasai pastoralists who benefit directly from visitors to the camp. The camp’s surrounding wilderness, a combination of beautiful scenery and wide open spaces, is home to a growing population of elephant families.

Ol Kanjau is a traditional safari style mobile tented camp, kept as simple as possible so guests can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet; breathe in clean air; and count a million stars under the incredible African night sky.

Accommodation consists of six spacious and luxurious twin tents, with large comfortable beds, safari style bathrooms - with bucket showers and hot water; and gas lanterns to light your tent at night.

The cost of staying at the lodge includes soft drinks, beer and house wine. Activities at Ol Kanjau include exciting game drives and walks in the company of knowledgeable guides; Mountain biking in bush land wilderness; spectacular bird watching; cultural visits to a Maasai village; and unique bush breakfasts and dinners

This tented camp consists of 6 twin spacious and luxurious tents, with large comfortable beds, safari style bathrooms, with bucket showers. Each tent is made of lightweight pale brown canvas and is very spacious.

The tents in Ol Kanjau Amboseli Camp also include a dressing table and hanging space for your clothes.
