Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli is considered the leading Eco-tourist experience in Kenya and the area offers a wealth of activities. Therefore we suggest that you spend a minimum of 3-6 days to encounter some of the scenic sites and many activities of the this region.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Amboseli or choosing where to go in Kenya. The wildlife is easy to spot and the numerous elephants in the swamps are a delight to watch. The location is ideal and the staff at Ol Tukai really makes the visit special.
There are 80 luxury chalet-style twin rooms at Ol Tukai Lodge, all with an uninterrupted view of the wetlands or Kilimanjaro. Stylish and comfortable, the rooms are built from gum trees, local river stone and slate. All rooms have private bathrooms and individual terraces.
To accommodate physically challenged guests, two rooms have been designed according to EU standards. For the executive traveller, the exclusive Kibo Villa is also available, a self-contained log cabin with three luxurious ensuite rooms, roof terrace and Jacuzzi. All bedrooms are ensuite, and the master bedroom opens onto a roof top terrace where you can relax in the Jacuzzi, drinking in the splendid panorama of Amboseli and Kilimanjaro. The Villa offers a lounge, a dining room, a fully fitted kitchen, a barbecue area and large verandas. Guests can choose to be catered or self-catering and may also make use of the Lodge’s facilities
