Reef Hotel Mombasa Kenya

I first thought the Reef Hotel Mombasa was a bit dismal but then looking at all the staff with beautiful smiley faces that perception went, greeted with refreshing glass of cold fruit juice at reception and were able to check in right away.

Many rooms overlooked the 3 pools and garden area which has an excellent children play area and wendy house loads of places to sunbathe in - and around the gardens. There is a swim up pool bar and a choice of two bars in which to buy lunch. The beach is accessible by a few steps and there were hardly any beach operatives around,

Reef Hotel Mombasa is a 3 star, small hotel so don't expect a huge complex, however it has everything u need. The food was lovely in the hotel, especially the BBQ. We went out of the hotel at night though a lot. You have to go to the Tamarin restaurant. Its 10mins away in a taxi. Its a seafood restaurant. I have never seen lobster like it
