Sarova Whitesands Seafront Hotel Mombasa is one of the best resorts in Kenya with an excellent reputation and 200 metres of beautiful beach front, the longest seafront on the north coast of Mombasa.

The main outdoor swimming pool is huge and stretches out into different directions with shallow parts suitable for children. There is a water sports shop and office where guests can organise snorkeling and scuba diving.

Whitesands resort is located north of Mombasa city and 25 kilometres from Mombasa airport.

Restaurant : There are three restaurants at the resort. The large main restaurant offers a huge buffet with a wide variety of food to choose from. There is also a beach front restaurant that specialises in fresh seafood as well as a cafe/diner that serves food 24 hours a day.

Exterior : A beachfront property, the Sarova Whitesands Seafront Hotel Mombasa is spread out over 22 acres of landscaped gardens. The three-storey buildings are painted bright white with many of the blocks right on the sand beaches.

Lobby: The large lobby is open plan and has marble floor and a seating area for guests.

Rooms: Palm rooms are in good condition and offer a nice view of the pool and surrounding gardens. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, fan, mini bar, tea/coffee facilities and most offer an in-room safe. There is also a writing desk, wooden chairs and a balcony

My stay at Sarova Whitesands Seafront Hotel Mombasa was defiantly the best holiday i have ever been on - the hotel was great and the locals and staff are always willing to help you as much as they can, when arriving the entrance of the hotel does not look to good but once inside the the main area it is beautiful.

The entrance is set out with African dancers and tropical juices in pineapples for when you arrive and this makes you feel very welcome. The hotel rooms are nice and some of the rooms have great views, once we got there our safe was broken so the staff was willing to move us to a different room which is where we had the sea front view.
