Comfortable rooms with A/C, DSTV with good movies, reliable internet.

The hotel has a great location, right in the city centre. I always ask for a city facing room on one of the top floors: panoramic views of Kampala and the surrounding hills.

The hotel's had a major makeover in the last year and a half. It has some good restaurants. The breakfast room will put you in the African mood straightaway with the large balcony surrounded by lush vegetation.

Room service is very hit and the evening entertainment (necxt to the outside buffet restaurant) consists of some teenage girls and a keyboard player warbling their way through pop classics at full volume for hours on end.

The pool is great and features in the movie 'Last King of Scotland'
