Sunset Bay Hotel Zanzibar is located only a few meters from brilliant, white sand Kiwengwa Beach. Guest accommodations are spacious and comfortable, designed in traditional decor, with the sole aim to ensure that the needs of all guests are not only met, but surpassed.

Sunset Beach Hotel is on the northern part (NUNGWI) of the island of Zanzibar, one hour drive from the Airport and Stone Town.

The Hotel’s central areas are set in beautifully landscaped gardens and located on a slightly elevated rocky outcrop with an adjoining beautiful white sandy bay and fabulous clear waters, where you can swim even during low tide! (which is not the case in many hotels on Zanzibar).

Restaurant & Bar

The Restaurant and Bar enjoy magnificent views over the gardens to the sea. The hotel operates as an all inclusive facility offering breakfast, lunch and dinner with an all day supply of perfectly chilled bottled water, all soft drinks and excellent beers.

The cuisine has an international flair taking into cognizance the abundance of sea food available on the island with the unusual slipper lobster being a speciality.

Local coffee as well as espresso and cappuccino are available at the bar which is stacked with a wide range of excellent Italian and South African wines and the usual well known spirits. There are many sumptuous buffets, not to overlook a special Pizza corner.
