Located at the rim of lake Kifuruka,(just 26km from Fort portal town) Lake kifuruka Eco campsite is an ideal stop center for travellers who wish to experience the beauty of the crater lakes area and the warmth of the people of Uganda.


We offer: camping on the hilltop overlooking the Rwenzoris and the lake Kifuruka, Guided walks to the scenic Mahoma waterfalls(2 to 3 hours), Restaurant(local and international dishes)Eco lodges(bandas)and volunteering opportunities for travellers who want to take time off their travel to assist the needy children in our community.


To get there,from Fort Portal town, stop at Kasiisi junction on Fort Portal Kamwenge road, take right and follow the sign for lake Kifuruka Eco campsite.


If you are coming by public means, Take a small shared taxi to Rwaihamba trading center(Costs Uganda shillings 4000), and then jump over a motorcycle(commonly referred to as Boda boda Uganda)to drop you at lake Kifuruka Eco campsite.(costs Uganda shillings 1500 to 2000)
