11Days Uganda Safari - Wildlife, Chimps, Gorilla, Birds, Scenery

Uganda Scenery Safari, Gorilla tracking, Chimp trekking, Bird watching, Boat launch and Game drive

ITINERARY:

Day 1:

On arrival at Entebbe airport, transferred to Hotel Equatoria, while at Equatoria enjoy the atmosphere created within the hotel circles, dinner and overnight. Hotel Equatoria.

Day 2:

Early morning breakfast; depart for Murchison Falls National Park via the famous Luwero Triangle, lunch at Masindi after lunch proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, while enroute to the lodge viewing at the top of the falls, dinner and overnight at Paraa Lodge.

Day 3: :

Early morning game drive in the park, in search of jackals, giraffe, elephants and lions. Return to the lodge for lunch.

Afternoon go for launch cruise on the Nile with great photo taking experience, watch over the crocodile, herds of elephants, water birds such as the rare shoe bill, Dinner and overnight. Paraa Lodge.

Day 4:

After breakfast proceed to Pabidi eco-tourism site in Budongo forest for nature walk to track chimps and bird watching, Budongo forest has the highest concentration of primates, return to lodge for lunch, have a evening game drive, return to lodge for dinner and over night stay. Paraa Lodge.

Day 5:

Depart morning after breakfast southwest through Albertine escarpment of the Rift Valley; continue through Hoima town to Fort Portal, en route you will have a chance to view splendid scenery, continue to Ndali Lodge/Mantana luxury tented camps, after lunch tour the crater lakes areas for view of the panoramic site, return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight. Ndali Lodge.

Day 6 of Uganda Scenery Safari:

Early morning venture into Kibale National Forest Park, for trekking chimps, and other Primates (has over 13 species of primates) while trekking chimps you will learn how their life is quite similar to humans you will be able to follow them as they raise up from sleep to how they go on with their day to day life, butterfly searching (carry packed lunch), return to lodge/camp dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge.

Day 7:

After breakfast depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, enroute magnificent view of the “mountains of the moon” Mountain Rwenzori, arrive in time for lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge, after lunch two hour launch excursion along the Kazinga Channel which offers a rare opportunity to experience a close quarters of hippos, variety of water birds and herds of elephants. Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 8: :

Early morning after break fast, game drive along the tracks see herd of buffaloes, warthogs, move to Ishasha area and see the tree-climbing lions, move back for lunch, after lunch depart for Kabala via Ishaka enroute view the great rift valley, arrive evening at White Horse Inn/Lake Bunyonyi overland. Dinner and overnight Lake Bunyonyi Resort.

Day 9 Uganda Scenery Safari :

After breakfast proceed for excursions around Lake Bunyonyi environ enjoying the magnificent view and taking photos, experience the lake with 38 islands in a canoe experience, have lunch, after lunch drive through a rugged terrain enjoying valleys, beautiful scenery, to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Dinner and overnight Buhoma Homestead.

Day 10: :

Early morning breakfast, briefing at Buhoma Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters’ by a guide on gorilla trekking etiquette, carry packed lunch and water, gorilla trekking can take upto 4-10 hours depending on how easily a gorilla family is located. Return to camp. Dinner and overnight Buhoma Homestead.

Day 11 of Uganda Scenery Safari:

After breakfast depart for Kampala via Mbarara have lunch in Mbarara, arrival late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Equatoria.
