Method:Fry the onions and garlic in a litte oil in a pan for 5 minutes then add the ginger, salt, cayenne pepper and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes before adding the tomatoes and sweet potato. Stir to mix and add the water. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, cover and cook for 5 minutes before adding the peas. Cook for 10 minutes then take off the heat and add 400ml cold water. Purée the soup in a blender and return to a pot allow to heat through and serve.
