Voyager Beach Resort Mombasa Accommodation at Voyager Beach Resort Mombasa is of excellant service, friendly staff, and I would certainly go back again if chance land to me. Voyager Beach Resort has been heralded as the most comfortable and exciting voyage on the western seaboard of the Indian Ocean. With its three restaurants, three swimming pools, a professional dive school and what is arguably the region's finest Watersports Centre, Voyager Beach Resort really does have something for everyone.
The pools are good, clean and well manned by attendants for drinks and towels- the infinity pool is the chill out one and we spent most days there. You cannot fault the cleanliness of the place, the rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and in fact the whole place is very very clean. There are lots of steps especially down to the fun pool and to the infinity pool & beach, so if you have trouble managing lots of steps ask for one of the rooms up by the restaurants or bars (there is also a pool up the top also), or book somewhere else. The restaurants- Main Buffet- different food every day. Unless you are one of the- only English food namby pambies you will have something different everyday from different countries. The seafood restaurant- Try the lobster- expensive but awesome.
I must say that we were very happy with the food in the main restaurant.Also I would have liked to see the “Trousers for Dinner rule enforced” in the evenings. Breakfasts were great (and there was some food available from 4.00am which I have never come across before). Fresh fruit – prepared for you, cooked food, continental and fabulous pancakes staff (I’ve put on half a stone and it’s their fault) in short, the staff were great, and I’m just sorry that I can’t remember all their names. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable and they all worked very hard. Even with the rain on a couple of evening the “show went on” as they just moved everything into the Bar area.
