This is a flying safari which is ideal for those who don’t have much time on their hands.

Solo travelers will find that this type of safari is also a money saver as you don’t have to bear the cost of an entire seven seater safari van - you just fly to Samburu and share your safari drives with others in a seven seater safari van.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Nairobi to Samburu

At 0815 hrs, check in at Wilson Airport for your flight to Samburu departing at 0915 hrs.

You will be met at the airstrip upon arrival and transferred to your lodge, animal viewing enroute, arriving for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a safari drive in the scenic Samburu National Reserve.Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge

Day 02: Samburu

A full day in Samburu, with morning and evening game drives.

Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.

Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya park: Grevys Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe,Gerenuk, Blue Shanked Somali Ostrich and the Beisa Oryx.

The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink.

You will find the scenic semi-arid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colourful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 03: Samburu to Nairobi

Early morning safari drive with breakfast at the lodge. Later in the day, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi departing at 11.10 AM, to arrive Nairobi at 12.15 O’clock
